It's been kind of a funny night....

In the first place, I received Funny Girl in the mail from Netflix today. I've never seen it before, but I have to say it is living up to its name.

Secondly, I used to hate squash of all kinds, especially zucchini! Tonight, however I have consumed and entire zucchini and all of the edible parts of a small butternut squash.

Thus, I decided I should probably exercise. I decided the perfect exercise to allow me to continue to watch Funny Girl would be hula hooping. Unfortunately, I threw my hoops away when I moved to Colorado. (I can be so short sighted sometimes. I should have known this day would come and I would need a hoop!)

I, therefore, left the warmth and comfort of my home to go to Walmart at 8pm and purchase said exercise equipment. I also picked up some mouthwash while I was there.

I knew I looked pretty odd standing in line with only a hula hoop and mouthwash. The random hilarity of the scene did not escape the high-as-a-kite cashier who congratulated me on the wild night I must have ahead of me. I smiled, concurred (lied), and hurried to my car -fairly amused myself.

On my way home I noticed that the moon tonight happens to look EXACTLY like the smile of the Cheshire Cat from Alice In Wonderland. I see this as no small coincidence but as a feasible explanation for the funny turns tonight has had in store :D
